Noxolo Grootboom, otherwise known as “uMamNoxolo”, otherwise known as “uMam” and in her own words, “a child of the 60’s”, is one of the the nation’s most adored and revered broadcasters. With an inimitable knack for the isiXhosa language, Grootboom is a living linguistic legend whose famous line, “ndin’thanda nonke emakhaya”, still captures the heart of a nation of news lovers lead by her grace.
